Jim Kite,
Captain D’s Area Director of West Atlanta, recently received a catering
order for lunch to feed 330 US Army soldiers at Fort McPherson on Sunday,
July 10. Kite rallied the management team and crew at store 3716 to pull
off this big order. Any idea how much fish, shrimp and chicken it takes
to feed an army? Here’s what was on the menu:
105 Fish
& Chicken Dinners
100 Chicken
Dinners
80 Country
Style Dinners
45 Bite-Size
Shrimp Dinners
750 Add-A-Piece
Butterfly Shrimp
All served
with 300 orders of green beans and rice
40 Gallons
of Tea
Tammy Booker
and crew at store 3716 started by making tea on Saturday night, rolled
in early on Sunday morning and were cooking by 9AM. Kite said that he
spoke to personnel at the base and heard “food quality was great
and they were sure they will do this again in the future.” Kite
said the only challenge was finding enough room to make all the dinners
at one time!
Congratulations
to Jim Kite, management and crew….job well done!
